The role:We are looking for an experienced Leasing Manager to compliment this well-run Leasing team. Working in collaboration with the BDM and Property Managers, and overseeing the work of an additional Leasing Consultant, this is an opportunity for a savvy people-person looking for a fast paced, busy role with a great company. Some of the key components of the role include:-
- Manage and respond to enquiries from prospective Tenants via Inspect Real Estate
- Maintain the prospective Tenant database, including data entry
- Perform Tenancy checks, qualify Tenants for properties and process Tenant applications
- Ensure Rental lists are up to date and Properties are uploaded and advertised correctly online
- Arrange viewings with qualified prospective Tenants
- Issue the appropriate documentation to tenants where required in accordance of the QLD legislation
- Conduct Open Homes and private inspections with prospective Tenants, providing solutions, advice and alternatives where you can
- Deliver feedback and advice to Owners after inspections, making recommendations where necessary
- Secure as many applications as possible as quickly as possible
- Work to minimise the number of days a Property is vacant
- Attend to all daily, weekly, Departmental meetings as required
- Ensure Office Policies, Procedures and checklists are followed and completed at all times
- Ensure The Acts are followed at all times, including Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act, Privacy Act, Property Occupations Act 2014, Anti-Discrimination and any other future or relevant Acts
- Use of PropertyMe and IRE software
To be considered for the role you will have:- Strong residential Leasing and or Property Management experience
- Experience using Inspect Realestate and ideally PropertyMe software
- A current Certificate of Registration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
