About the company:
Our client, Aria Property Group is a multi award-winning, private residential development company based in South Brisbane. Well-known for their design excellence, they have a rich history of delivering high-quality residential apartment buildings and retail developments throughout Brisbane's premium inner suburbs. In every one of their projects exists a forward-thinking design, with primary consideration given to sustainability, aesthetic, amenity, and  thoughtful integration within the community and surrounding space. They work with national architecture firms, Koichi Takada, Woods Bagot, Bates Smart, Rothelowman and Richards & Spence in creating their iconic projects.

The role:
Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer specialising in furniture and FF&E to join the design team. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position based in the head office in South Brisbane. The role will incorporate  interior styling and FF&E management across future and legacy buildings, including:

·         Custom apartment furniture packs (50+)
·         Turn-key packages for penthouses and display apartments
·         Public area amenities, furniture, décor, and art
·         Window coverings
·         Office renovations
·         Hotel development (pipeline projects)

Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

·         Concept presentations, furniture layouts, furniture selections, custom    designed furniture and review of shop drawings
·         Review architectural drawings and finishes schedules to develop a detailed knowledge of building layouts, spaces, and services
·         Budgeting, purchasing, coordinating delivery and installation
·         Frequently liaising with suppliers, clients, and on-site contractors
·         Create asset register and cleaning guides for Body Corporates and owners
·         Managing furniture defects, warranty claims, and replacements

Requirements for the role: 

  • Interior design qualification (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years' industry experience, including 3–5 years in FF&E within a high-performing interiors role
  • Full-time, South Brisbane office, with frequent site visits
  • Strong multitasking under tight deadlines
  • Passion for design and property development
  • Willingness to work long site days during building openings
  • Driver’s license and own car
