The Role
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the Facilities Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of properties across Queensland. This hands-on role offers autonomy and variety, focussed on ensuring each site remains safe, operational and compliant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing preventative and reactive maintenance across a broad range of hard and soft services.
- Overseeing contractor performance and compliance with WHS and statutory obligations.
- Ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinating refurbishments, relocations and minor capital works.
- Managing project budgets, tendering and procurement processes.
- Maintaining accurate facilities records and supporting the ongoing improvement of systems and processes.

The Candidate This role would suit someone with strong experience in facilities management across industrial or commercial assets and who thrives in an autonomous, self-driven environment. You will be proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high operational standards.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in facilities management across commercial or industrial property.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, WHS and building compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A highly organised approach with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
