Job Description

The Company 
Our client is a boutique property developer specialising in land lease communities. Backed by a leading institutional investment group, the business is stable, well-funded, and operates in a fast-paced but supportive environment, creating high-quality communities across Queensland and New South Wales. 

The Role 
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the on-site delivery of projects - ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality. Based predominantly onsite, this is a resident-facing role focusing on program performance, cost control, quality and safety compliance across site activities.

This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager or a Site Manager seeking to step into a client-side role. You’ll receive support, training and have the opportunity to broaden your skills in development delivery. 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee construction programs, site operations, and contractor activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance 
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and procurement across homes, civil works, and community facilities 
  • Lead safety culture on-site, including subcontractor inductions and ongoing compliance monitoring 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to facilitate smooth project handovers and site events 
  • Manage quality assurance, defect resolution, and resident handovers to provide a positive customer experience 
  • Manage defect resolution and post-completion quality assurance to ensure positive resident experiences 
  • Support feasibility assessments and strategic growth initiatives for new development opportunities 
The Successful Candidate 
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, or related discipline 
  • Experience in site management, project coordination, or development delivery within residential or community projects 
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and resident outcomes 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills 
  • High attention to detail, proactive, and eager to grow into a client-side development career
