Job Description

The Company
Our client is an award winning, Brisbane based private development company. With a reputation for delivering residential developments of the highest quality and design, they continue to be a market leader in the QLD residential development sector. 

The Role
Reporting to senior management, the Operations Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the head office and related business infrastructure. This strategic and hands-on role oversees IT, administration, procurement, facilities, and WHS functions, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT, administration, facilities, and office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Lead and support the head office administration team, including records management and workflow improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and office-related contracts.
  • Ensure workplace health & safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safety protocols.
  • Oversee office facilities, maintenance, security, and space planning.
  • Maintain operational policies and procedures, reporting on performance, budgets, and compliance.
Experience Required
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, administration, management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in office, operations or facilities management.
  • Experience managing IT vendors, procurement, and corporate services.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
