Job Description
Rare opportunity for an experienced acquisitions professional to join a respected national property development company with ambitious growth plans for South East Queensland.
The Role:
Reporting to the Development Director and National Acquisitions Manager, you will lead the sourcing, research and negotiation of new residential built form and land development acquisitions in QLD, whilst also providing assistance to the national business as required. Your role will include:
- Source and assess property acquisition opportunities both 'on' and 'off' market
- Direct negotiation with landowners and coordination with agents/consultants
- Undertake feasibility analysis and prepare acquisition reports
- Negotiate acquisitions, joint ventures and development management agreements
- Coordinate purchase agreements and manage due diligence programs
- Occasional interstate travel may be required
Requirements/Experience: - Tertiary qualifications in property, valuations or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in acquisitions, development management, or valuation/agency background
- Demonstrated development feasibility and land acquisition negotiation experience
- Experience with major project bids/tenders/acquisitions
- Strong communication and financial modelling skills
